It appears that Source has had a long overdue SDK Tools Update!

From Steam News:
Quote:
Major New Features
  • Half-Life 2: Episode One enhancements
  • NPC behavior enhancements
  • New Tool application called 'Source SDK Base'
    • Uses the latest shipping version of the Source Engine (HL2: Episode One)
    • This content will be updated whenever a new version of the Source Engine ships
    • Mod makers should always use its SteamAppId (215) in their single player and multi-player mods
  • Many other improvements and bug fixes

Will there be MetaMod Release??

As compiling the metamod project on windows throws linker errors. Primarily about the sdk's string functions like V_strcasecmp etc etc.

I had no problems compiling SourceMM against the newer SDK. I have committed the relevant SDK updates as well as support for GCC-4.1.

We'll release a binary update to Metamod:Source soon I think.
