How to prevent overflow

Hi,
I wanted to start a server and i know how to prevent some cheaters and how to install mods, etc. Now i was on a server and a guy starting using an overflow attack. I wanted to know how to prevent this. I know DevilDogs has something that tells you that your trying to spam the server but i don't know what it is.

For any Source based game:

You pretty much have to install DAF. There is a nasty DoS attack floating around that Valve has yet to fix. DAF detects, logs and stops that attack.

You will have to edit the VDF to match your mod. You can edit the VDF with a text editor.

I strongly recommend Kigen's Anti-Cheat. It will protect your server certain types of cheats, and several commands that can be used to attack servers.

That's great thanks Recon0 i think i'll also go with your suggestion in installing Kigen's anti-cheat. I just have one now to ban sv_cheats override.
