[CSGO] Where to change game_mode and type

My plugin is supposed to switch between deathmatch and competitive 5v5. I tried it in OnMapStart(), but that just gives very messed up results. So where is the correct place to change? Just before the map reload/change on maybe even in OnMapEnd()?
