I've just updated my linux l4d2 srcds, and now on server launch im immediately crashing. There are reports on the l4d2 discussions that it's related to sourcemod, is there anyone else who is having issues or can confirm this information?

I assume that valve will reverse the update?

After today's update (14-May-2024), my L4D2 linux server will no longer start. It gets stuck in a loop showing "free(): invalid pointer" and "Aborted (core dumped)".

I thought I wasn't the only one and it turns out that it only crashes with Sourcemod. Metamod works fine, but without Sourcemod, no plugin works. I hope they update it soon, because I have many plugins that improve L4D2

Using Sourcemod will crash the dedicated and local Server immediately when you start it. I don't know if Stripper and L4Dtoolz will also apply. But now you can no longer start the server when it crashes.

I hope they manage to update the Sourcemod with the newest version of L4D2. Or some new method to avoid this problem.
