I was informed this plugin is actually a risk, and as a result I'm removing it.

God I hope this isn't something that Valve would frown upon because of market-related reasons.

I'm just not sure if this falls under the same category as "fake unusual hats" which is what killed off the Equipment Manager and VisWeps plugin (visible custom weapon models being fucked over as a result of Valve breaking serverside player attachments all those years ago).

I mean, yeah Australiums can be bought on the market for mid-range prices, same as most unusuals...but where do we draw the line on "what will piss valve off"? No fake "skinned" weapons? No fake weapons at all?

This plugin just add unusual effects on weapons, I don't have permission to add free unusual effects on hats, killstreak effects or australium items!

I'm confused by this. Where is the permission (or lack of) from?
Do I have to remove my plugin?

I'm new to this so I have no idea on any implied or unwritten rules or standards..

imo is better you remove the plugin and sourcecode.

Valve in this months is becoming really mad with community servers ( more with csgo but tf2 is pretty the same thing)

I already asked psychonic about this when I first saw it posted. He said it wasn't a issue since only the player will be able to see the weapon in first person mode. Personally I feel like why even risk Valve bringing something like they did in CS:GO to TF2. Giving people items they don't have is just asking for trouble. But if
psychonic says it's OK then what ever I guess.
