AMXX DOES support these chars IF the file is saved as UTF-8 without BOOM
Maybe you noticed that you can use ä ö ü and ß since some time. This is when Valve added other keyboard layouts. At that point these chars where also usable in amxx dictionary files.

And the only reason why i did not changed "drink" to "Getränk" was that everyone understand this word in Germany, so it doesn't really make sense to translate it.
