He understood some of what you said, but not why you would want one single module, as there aren't any benefits and some disadvantages.

You could use AMX Mod X without Metamod in theory, but it would require a lot of recoding and more importantly, you would still need to design an equivalent to Metamod, unless you were hoping AMXx interfaced with HLDS via telepathy..
