Is it possible to verify a person's steam ID with the steam API? I mean the steamID you get when you type status in console.

I want to do some integration with my web, specifically the forum so users are linked to steam codes, making it easier to manage the community. Also to create some automatic VIP donations.

If not, what do you advise to achieve this?
