Half-Life: Deathrun
☉ Description
HL Deathrun is a game mode where there are two teams: the BLUE team called
runners, and the RED team called
activators. Runners must navigate an obstacle filled with traps where the activator tries to kill them. Custom maps are used to play this mode.
☉ Gameplay
- When round begins, the activador and runners spawns in differentes places.
- Activator's side let him watch safely the runners and see the hidden traps. He also has a big selection of traps to his disposition, where he must press a button to activate them.
- Runners's side consist in narrow hallways filled of traps where he must go through it to find and kill the activator.
- Traps can be break-away floors that hides larges pits, hydraulic presses that can crush the player, etc.
☰ Commands
- dr_restart - restart the round.
- dr_respawn [name or #userid] - respawn a player.
- dr_weapons - gives you some weapons (gauss, mp5, etc.) for testing maps.
- dr_firstroundtime <value> - countdown to start the first round (in seconds). Default: 15.
👁 Requirements
⚙ Installation
- Download the file dr_plugin_*.zip and extract the content in valve's folder (e.g "C:\Half-Life\valve").
- Compile the file deathrun.sma and save them in your plugin's folder.
- In valve's folder, open the file server.cfg and add those cvars at the end and save.

- ☑ Restore the map objects after every round (break-away floors, etc).
- ☐ Add time limit to rounds.

☉ Available Languages:
The mod has
multi-language support. You can translate the plugin into any language editing
deathrun.txt file found in lang's folder.
To install them,
download dr_translations.zip and extract it in your server's folder.
