I've done this, with my own custom map I used for my achieve server. I just combined all the files with the one .bsp file. Makes it simpler so people don't have to download every sound, material, or model used on the map.

I will never take someone else's map and make it mine. I may edit it and play around to learn some stuff. But no.

If I made my above statement sound ignorant, I apologize.
