this is still nothing more than an entry on someone's TODO list, apparently all the effort went into more and better blocking instead. and if what was posted above is true: breaking the socket code, so the only remaining useful part of xREDIRECT (showing status of other servers within the same community) is broken too. btw, someone has a bit more info on that?
this is not quite the progress i was hoping for after such a long time. it basically shows that most of the work goes into destructive rather than constructive tasks and there is not much hope that the solution we need is implemented anytime soon - or ever.
