Was this the console in your game, or the console of your server?
Sometimes when there is an error executing a SourceMod command due to a bug, the server console will display the error, but the game console will say "Unknown command" even though the command exists.
Also be sure that you have the correct admin permission flags set. If you have the "z" flag then you have them all. But if this needs a specific flag it might not be a command you can run.
