well for one thing, are you doing this in Left 4 Dead 2? if so how? me and the other guy that commented above you just now after you just now commented are like, stuck, the game crashes for us when we start up our servers and this plugin is installed. and to fix your problem just try hidehud 64, sometimes it requires sm_cvar at the beginning and sometimes it doesn't, for instance if you do something like sm_cvar ent_fire blah blah blah
it won't work
but if you do ent_fire blah blah blah it will work, if it still doesn't work then that is just one of the few cheats that requires sv_cheats to be set to 1, but since that was what you are doing which confuses me because this plugin is designed so that you can do cheats without any cheats being on to keep cheating under control if clients want to cheat and what not, then technically you wouldn't need any sm_cvar at the beginning period
