I have an the following issue which never allows me to silence or ban no matter how many times I try or how long I wait:

[SourceComms] This player has not been verified. Please wait thirty seconds before retrying.

I can use regular sm_ban just fine and it shows up in sourcebans.

UPDATE:
The issue appears to be clientpreferences related.
If I use clientpreferences locally I can use sourcecomms but if I use it remotely I perpetually get the message above.

Is there something special I have to do for clientprefs besides an entry in databases.cfg to get it to work correctly?
