Another update: Following psychonic's suggestion I removed the gamedata dependency entirely and used SDKHooks instead, which should make it much more future proof. I've updated the build here for Windows:

Haven't updated the linux build yet, but if you need to use the extension now just use the attached updated gamedata file.
