TF2Items will break. You will need to update to a TF2Items 1.6.2 build after the update (if you apply it before the update, it will likely crash your server).

They are. Custom models will not show up, but the base weapon will. Tested using GiveWeapon with a weapon using Degreaser as base weapon, and Cremators Touch as custom model. Degreaser shows up when weapon is on ground and is visible when picked up by another player. Stats for the spawned weapon are saved when it is dropped and picked up.
