Logging in via Steam seems to add a new user, is this purpose intended? Shouldn't it only allow this if the STEAM ID is already known, and otherwise notify the user that it doesn't know him/her, and that if he/she means that it it should, then they should contact the administrator?

Ah yes my bad, didn't mean to link via https.
Also with the Steam Login, it allows anyone to login, but only do Admin stuff if you're added in the backend.
This allows people who make appeals/submissions etc to login with the Steam account, so you know exactly who it is.
