I just said it wasn't the
best idea, not a bad idea. As long as you know what you are doing with recompiling, it's fine. But if you haven't changed any code, I'm not sure how much good recompiling would do. I can see where on the rare occasion something older would need to be broken be an SM update, but for the most part, everything should be backwards compatible, otherwise we'd all have to recompile all of our plugins every time an SM update was released.
