Actually, that's the point of V-Sync, you should use it if you have a good rig, so if you have a 60 hz Monitor and a PC that can handle more than 60 FPS, just use V-Sync, it will reduce some screen tearing. There's no reason to use V-Sync if your rig can't even pass your monitor's refresh rate.
