You do not need to do that to join your server. Nothing in your logs actually indicate any issue with the map at all.
If you're unable to connect via RCON or through direct connect using the IP given in your command line, it would be that the ports are not forwarded for your machine, the address you assigned it is incorrect. Or if this is a LAN machine and you do not have NAT or IP Split enable to allow connecting with an external address and need to connect via local IP.
Is this a hosted machine somewhere or LAN?
Is the server crashing as well? As you should have an accelerator link if it has.
