You don't have to worry about that, I doubt anyone would feel for 'prefering' one to other when they are distinctly tagged.
As per bp tag, that's not relevant but it's more precise since that refers to a language rather than a country. People don't speak "brazilian" in Brazil; they speak portuguese, or brazilian portuguese if you prefer.

It's not correct to say that it's poorer when it's just different, and that's not just a derivation. I could argue that a language is not just invented, but that's subject for deep lingustic studies and theories; I'm only remarking that because your post could start a pointless and endless flaming.
