I'm no friend of Sir, but I've spoken to him on and off over the years and never had any issues with him.
On the flip side, why are you trying to improve the code of someone who has clearly blocked you? That to me comes off as they don't want anything to do with you. The best idea would be to clone the repo and create your own branch, instead of lying to others to do your bidding?
