I would just strip l4d2 support out since its discontinued and doesn't seem to keep track of upgrades from map to map. The current version of Left 4 Dead 2 still works just fine as far as upgrades go. I don't know what issues you are having, I simply discontinued it because Valve messed up L4D2 too, and i cannot run it anymore. Therefor , I cannot code, or test it.
