Hey Everybody!
I think Amx 1.9 is really unstable. Not working properly now.
Error:
Segmentation Fault (Core dumped) Something like that.
Amx Mod X 1.9 Dev Built (Latest on downloads-new.php)
Error occurs when:
- Server is restarted
- Map is changed, changelevel
- any other thing that triggers reloading of server
What I have done earlier:
I have renamed my
amxmodx folder as
amxmodx-old.
And Fresh installed Amx Mod X 1.9 Dev Built as per advisory here.
Thank you god that I did just renaming, not deleted. Now 1.9 is not working as described above, I have to restart my total server using server ssh (./csstrike restart - Linux GSM)
It was frustrating that I am stuck on default map, not even able to change the map.
For temporary basis:
- Stopped my server
- Renamed amxmodx --> amxmodx-1.9
- Renamed amxmodx-old --> amxmodx
- Started the server again
EVERYTHING WORKS FINE NOW. But I can't keep it on 1.8.3 all time. Well Thanks to my hosting provider for these stable built they gave me, though it is outdated, but atleast able to perform basic functionality.
I could explain my best using this. Hope someone can help me now.
About Log: I can't see anything. No error log, but it is enabled in amxx.cfg still doubt.
