Old 03-25-2014 , 20:07   CS:GO - removing radio commands
Reply With Quote #1

I'm working on a 1v1 type plugin, and one problem it has (both players can be on the same team) is that some radio commands are auto-issued on round start. These come with a little "!" over the players head which gives away their position.

Obviously, one solution is to force the players to be on different teams, but I'm trying to avoid resorting to that for other reasons. I've played on servers where the audio from the commands aren't played, and I haven't found much on how to do that.

Note: I'm not referring to anything about the grenade-specific radio messages.

I have found the player_radio command, but causing the event (when pre-hooked) to return Plugin_Changed or Plugin_Handled seems to have no effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I've actually managed to get using both teams to work well in my specific case. I'd still like to know how you can silence the audio of commands at least. I suspect removing the file and having sv_pure as 0 might be the only way though.
