In fact - yes. By sending more sync packets than normal (the speedhacking method) is possible to burstfire. But in reality its possible to rapidfire in other ways as well.
About game crashes and fixes - you are right. It's not only an anticheat, maybe the title is wrong, but as the name says, it's a guard module - spam protection isnt related to cheating in any way as well ;)
Anyway, the most important thing is that our goal (in the future) is to fully support all GoldSrc mods (or at least the most playing ones) and to bring an ultimate protection from cheaters, spammers, exploiters and etc.
