I was using this plugin on my servers, and along with that in the server.cfg file I made different configurations for each difficulty mode. (easy / normal / hard / expert.)

Just as a suggestion, it would be possible to display a message (chat or Hint text)
showing the players every time the difficulty changes.

For example: When the expert mode was activated, a PERSONALIZED message could appear, for example: "HELL MODE ACTIVATED" our "WTF MODE ACTIVATED"

There are 3 servers here in Brazil that do this, from 8 players a message appears "MODE CHUCK NORRIS ACTIVATED".

That would be pretty cool.

P.S: I will disable the option of the players to change the difficulty by voting
