And thanks to the cvar configs updater plugin I now see what is happening. When I install Flaregun and rerun sm_configs_compare, half of my cvars (for multiple plugins) I had changed from the default values are reflecting the default values even though the .cfg files themselves (for those plugins) still reflect my modified values. For example, l4d_csm_infected_access has a default of 0, but I have it at 1. When I install the flaregun files, the cfg for that csm cvar still reads 1 (though the csm menu on the server doesnt reflect "1"). But when I run the sm_configs_compare, it says my l4d_csm_infected_access is at the default value (meaning, it doesnt show up in the compare). When I remove the flaregun plugin and go back on the server, my modified plugin cvars are reflected again in the gameplay. But when I rerun sm_configs_compare, those cvars are still at the default values (meaning they still don't show up in the compare).

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?
