Hmm, maybe you have too many cvars and the cvar (I assume if it has one) to enable CSM is not being read correctly and sets to off? Not sure why else is wouldn't work, I also use the two plugins together.
Trying using the Cvar Configs Updater to clean and update your cvars folder:
