Any chance that someone has any alternative for just saving voice into audio files serverside?

Was actually making a chatGPT API "welcoming/informational" BOT now that the API is out.
They also released the Whisper model which reads Speech and converts to text, so I thought it would be cool to make it read voice chat somehow
But I see anything reading voice chat seems outdated
