I only have 1 major problem with Steam right now.
And that is the time it takes to log in to friends when it first starts up.
I have it disabled so it doesn't automatically log in, but when I press "Sign In", it takes like 5 minutes for it to respond and log in.
My friend Ph0X made a modification of a custom UI for Steam and it's really nice.
I'm using it instead of the stupid gradient UI from the update.
