Back then there was a extensive discussion in the Donor Section of AMXX about having a Discord Server, pretty much the response was there was no need because IRC existed (which also, arguments about supporting open source technologies). Weird arguments, but okay I guess.

Fast forwards today, turns out there's an official SourceMod discord server after the AlliedMods admins requested it of a community made server, which pretty much destroyed all the discussion I mentioned before. I tried to bump the thread again but got no official response.
