the master branch? Does it represent a stable version ready for production at any time, or a development version?
I recommend developers to have a look at
SmartGit
(free to use for open source projects). It's very useful to view changes and logs. I use it in combination with the command line.
The master branch is what used to be called sourcemod-central (the 1.6 branch) under hg.alliedmodders.net.
