I'm stuck at work before christmas and it's boring as hell!!
Please entertain me!!!!
For a while now, I've wanted to try and fix a problem with flashlights in CS:GO and release a nice !flashlight plugin.
So most of us know, for CSGO you can use the client console command "impulse 100" to toggle your flashlight when mp_flashlight is set to 1.
Say you have a big zombie map as an example. If players whom have a flashlight enabled run into an area where you can no longer see them (visleaf), the players flashlight sprite becomes stuck at where they crossed into the non visible leaf.
So I'm thinking a good fix would be.
1. Detecting when a player enters a new visleaf (not even sure if its possible)
2. Toggling off impulse and toggling it back on the next frame
Any thoughts from anyone?
