If I type my own text for the item found, will it work? For example: sm_fakeitem @me "LOLOL Hat" unusual uncrate or something like that? If not, can it be done or the plugin be edited?

I know there's a plugin for this already, where you can enter custom item names, but you can't choose your own quality. It has to be based on the last item found in the server. There also isn't one for unboxing, purchasing, trading, or gifting.
