Is there stock code available that will resolve an issue with the weapons displayed on HUD not matching the currently equipped weapons?

Example: I have equipped the Three Rune Blade using code. It functions fine. However, when I use the mousewheel or number keys to display the available weapons on the HUD (called Inventory Select Menu according to wiki) it will show that I have the Frying Pan. See attached image.

Note: I used the tf2items_giveweapon include to equip the item.
