Not too sure if you want to work on this panel, as it is hard coded in php, without any frameworks. I have started to work on new version myself, it will be much faster (reactjs), much easier to install and with bunch of new features. It will be desktop app and will not include bans/mutes anymore, so people can use this together with the new sourcebans++.
Soon will add some more info about this, what and how will work.
