Not sure if fps_override does the same as developer, but i remember if you were using it, and had fps_max on 250, you could jump much further. People used to do this to cheat on hns servers to get 260+ Longjumps. Also, it let's you accelerate faster when bhopping, especially when using an autobhop plugin (which are commonly used on furien servers).
