I happen to be one of the odd few coders and graphical inspired people. I web design, do graphic design, interface design, and program. I would love to lend my designing talents to the main site and even this PHPBB once the phpbb and site have reached a level of relaxation. Right now coding for the plugins system among other things is going on and the last thing they need is the layout being rapidly changed and them having to rework into the new layout.
