It's not our responsibility to rewrite all sub-plugins. We will provide what we think is necessary to complete (like a flashlight, or custom grenades plugin which is coded decently), but other things are not our concern. The compatibility plugin is enough for us because it won't force a rewrite, rather make it a good decision to rewrite.
