All I can add to this is that the most recent update from Valve caused this....it broke something. I had just put this anti-cheat system on about 2-3 days prior to the update and BAM... after update I get random crashes till its removed. Now I didn't try each one, one at a time I just loaded them all after updating SM and still same thing so I removed all. I really haven't tried to narrow it down to which one yet.
