I've been banned from a server twice now because the Eye Test gave a false positive.
The SMAC 0.8.4.0: Eye Test Violation seems to be by far the most common reason for people being banned on multiple servers over the past few months, and I believe many of them are false positives.
Symptoms:
Screen stutters to ~2FPS
(Someone else with the same problem said it was a connection issue, and that the FPS drop was caused by lag spike to ~500ms)
Then, after a few seconds of that, auto-perma-ban
