I don't think it's reasonable to ban people for equipping an item. Most people who have halos don't even realise why they've got them until they're told, since they likely didn't hear about the idler.

It's probably the worst-looking hat in the game, yet everybody is wearing one. It also stirs up all sorts of drama from various Steam groups who've decided to not heal anyone with a halo.
