Hm, maybe I don't know snakes from dildos, but I don't seem to have a raging boner over my 8600GT like you do. It's
a 512MB MSI (even though I ordered a 256MB
), but it doesn't seem to rock the house too hard. I don't have TFC2 so I can't test mine against yours, but I wouldn't expect much.
Hell, now that I look at the numbers, my memory is at 800MHz, but maybe it's smaller or older technology or some other tomfoolery.
