FYI for you great developers of plugins. My Ubuntu Linux box ran the Orangebox metamod beta plugin 1.6.0-r502 with no errors. However, beta 1.6.0-r518 gave the error

failed to dlopen server _i486.so error=server_i486.so: undefined symbol: GetCVarIF

Hmm, curious. I also tried the linux binary that came with the BAT plugin but no worky with the r502
