When a terrorist plants the bomb, he sets a password for it. Counter-terrorists have to get the password from that terrorist before defusing the bomb. If the planter suicides, gets killed by a teammate or falls-to-death, counter-terrorists will not be able to defuse the bomb!
Terrorists will protect the planter and counter-terrorists will try to kill the planter to get the password. The planter can suicide for his team or a greedy teammate can kill him too
