should of solved the crashing issues from last update for linux atlest i'm not sure about windows please post platform if you still experiencing crashing.
If it's still crashing try removing the plugin so the server has time to grab the latest gamedata, there should be a console message asking you to restart if the server did grab the gamedata then reinstall character manager.
