Version 9.0 is out!

What to expect in this update

1. Over 30+ bug fixes.
- One major bug introduced in the previous update was mutant special infected inheriting the settings of mutant tanks even when disabled.
- Another major bug addressed in this update is how config files were being read incorrectly.
- A small bug was also addressed where players would get stuck inside solid objects or under the map after the effects from some abilities wore off.

2. Several new rewards for the survivors.
- It's been awhile since the survivors got some rewards, so this update added several new ones, half of which are all for allowing survivors to heal their teammates with whatever item or weapon they have.

3. Better mutant special infected integration.
- Since last update was a significant overhaul of the entire project, many bugs were introduced. Due to some feedback and reports, this update was able to provide better integration for special infected, including making them fully optional for those who don't want them.

4. Spawn protection for mutants.
- This is an optional feature for users that want to give their mutant tanks/specials a little room to breathe by giving them damage resistance for the first few seconds after they spawn.

5. Lots of new features for several abilities.
- Most of these new features can be considered as Quality of Life changes while some add more variety and opportunity for counterplay.

6. Better line-of-sight logic for abilities.
- This is just to improve line-of-sight for abilities for users who want to customize how oppressive abilities can be.

*Note: The plugin (.smx) files that are included in the package are compiled on SM 1.12.0.7066.
- If you are using a different version and the plugins are failing to load, you must follow the steps for compiling the plugins for your server's version of SourceMod.
