The reason for this method is no extra dependencies, only dhooks which is part of SM now. Also on Linux L4D1 and previous to recent L4D2 updates the dword address was read differently using LEA or so something and I wouldn't know how to change that to read a new address.
Will upload fix for windows soon.
Edit: Linux L4D2 crashing also, no idea why, was working before.
