What would you even want?

Haven't been many original ideas in years;

here is my 15-year-old idea thread:
https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=45764

after having gone thru it, there are only a few ideas i think really worth pursuing:
Tie Fighter - hero based off Savage-25 that doesn't only drive a car around, but flys around a tie figher drone that can fire lasers and possibly also missiles.
Hammer Bros - a reskin of Longshot

both of these, along with the rest of the ideas are just reskins.

and more recently, i have identified a want/need for a strafe dash hero.

I've also had a few top down ideas from pop culture, like a 'Space Dandy' hero, laser gun with crazy power but tremendous inaccuracy (like the tv show xP).

I can recall looking at some coding references in the past, a list of the several different methods available to draw sprites - and the different methods of drawing gave me a few ideas for new and unique ways to go about some super powers. But that was more than a decade ago, and can't recall the specifics of what I was inspired to think about. I believe Storm made good use of one of these alternate sprite modes...

I have watched overwatch and paladins evolve since their releases, and always feel like cs1.6 superheroes had similar gameplay decades earlier =D. Many of their super powers don't even innovate particularly hard either, they just have very tightly concepted kits that give heroes a unique feel, and not so much unfettered power creep and superpower innovation.
